Schattenbaum is a Central/Southern New Jersey PCA Region that prides itself on the variety of activities offered to its members. With over 500 members, our region encompasses the Princeton New Jersey area south through the Delaware Valley and includes most of southern New Jersey to the Delaware border.
New Jersey Motorsports Park
With the Thunderbolt & Lightning Race Tracks opening in the summer of 2008 in Millville NJ, Schattenbaum will have two premier tracks in its’ Region Boundaries. We have already scheduled ample track days for the 2008 year and even more for 2009. All Porsches are meant to drive spiritedly and that certainly is what DE is all about.
The region was formed in 1973 by members of a race team who all owned Porsches. This team was high on enthusiasm, however low on funds, and thus chose the name "Shade Tree Racing" to describe their situation. The new region took this name, which in German translates into Schattenbaum
