Our region will continue to support the two selected charities from last year. Each will receive a $1000 donation from the club.

The first charity, Homefront, provides a network of services for the poor and homeless in MercerCounty.
Homefront’s mission is “to meet the immediate needs of food, shelter and safety and to help troubled families break from the cycle of poverty.
We work with single mothers, single fathers and families with histories of domestic violence, child abuse, drug abuse and welfare. We also work with families who just cannot make ends meet in a declining economy.”

The second charity, The True Measure Foundation, is based in Mt.Royal. The True Measure provides “financial assistance and support to families with a loved one stricken by catastrophic illness or injuries.”
