Happy New Year!

2013 marks the 40th year since Schattenbaum was founded as a region of PCA.  I became a member of Schattenbaum after my wife and I had purchased a new 911 in 1997.  As a Christmas present Claudia gave me a membership to PCA.  One of our first events with the club was the 25th anniversary social in the summer of 1998.  As they say the rest is history and here we are 15 years later getting ready to celebrate the 40th anniversary.  At the Dec board of directors meeting the new leadership of our club began the planning for the events to celebrate this important milestone as well as the many other events the club puts on throughout the year.  In addition to monthly meetings there will be car shows, tours, DE events, social gatherings, and several other exciting activities occurring all year long.  All these events need volunteers and participants to be successful.  If you would like to help out in any way please email me at pres@schattenbaum.org as we are always looking for volunteers.   Even if you can’t help run an event we would still love to see you participate in our events, so please check our website for upcoming events and make plans to come out and join in the fun.
